The listed sizes are the dimensions of the mounted canvas. When your canvas is stretched, you will be able to see a continuation of the colours/ textures/ patterns from the sides, above and under. On the canvas prints there is an extra 6cm area on each side of the canvas for the stretching process. To have an extra frame on top of the stretched canvas is of course up to you. If you choose to order the canvas option with no frame, the canvas must first be stretched on canvas stretcher bars. The paper size is 1cm longer than the printed area on every side. The listed sizes are the dimensions of the printed area, not the paper. On this print, there is 1 extra cm left blank on each side of the print for convenience during the framing process. You should have it framed to be hung on a wall. If you choose to order the photograph paper option, your art print will come without a frame. If you choose to order your canvas stretched, we will be shipping it ready to be hung on a wall.
Our canvas stretcher bars are made from solid wood and are 3cm thick. We stretch the canvas prints in our own atelier. If you order an archival paper print, please check for the signature. She will only be signing and dating the archival paper prints at the right bottom corner of the paper where we are leaving about 3-5 cm of extra space for the signature. However, not all prints will carry Ekin Büyükşahin’s signature. Please check for your embossed stamp when you receive an Ekinakis work. This will be stamped on the bottom right corner of every print. This canvas is produced especially for inkjet printing.Īs of July 2019, all prints that come out of our atelier will carry the Ekinakis embossed stamp. It has a textured surface and the printable side is 100% cotton. The photograph paper is 220gsm and has a smooth texture with matte inkjet coating. The archival paper is Hahnemühle’s 308 gsm 100% Cotton Paper. Archival paper, photograph paper and canvas. We present three options as printing surfaces for our art prints. Our prints are double checked by three pairs of eyes before shipment to prevent shipping you any prints with defects or printing errors that might occur. You should always prevent direct sunlight for long lasting colors but the ink Ekinakis uses does not loose its colors for 200 years when hidden from sunlight. We use Canon’s original pigment based ink Lucia Pro. Our open edition art prints are printed with Canon wide format printers designed for fine art and photography.
